Center "t{u}a" explicitly because vowel centering considers the elided "a" stronger. Alternatively, one could use the lision tag instead of talic, but that also makes the letter smaller unlike in the source. Also, its semantics are confusing: Here, there is no note above the elided vowel. Elsewhere, there is a note to be ignored, or one to be sung using the next vowel.
